After a freezing cold start, high temperatures will climb back into the 40s. Our average high for this time of year is 52. Similar to Tuesday, it will be breezy at times, making for wind chills in the 30s during the afternoon. Clouds will increase late in the day, as a strong cold front approaches.

A robust cold front will pass through early in the morning bringing a chance for rain and snow. Air temperatures will be above freezing, so roads will likely just be wet. There isn’t a lot of moisture with this system. Only a few hundredths of precipitation is expected. The bigger impact will be the winds. Winds will howl through the afternoon – gusting over 40 mph, at times.Â
